Privacy Policy
How Secondary Science Resources handles the information you send through the enquiry form, what we do not collect, and how to ask for your data to be removed.
This page explains what happens to any information you send us. It is short, because the site does very little with data.
Who we are
Secondary Science Resources publishes a catalogue of science teaching material for Key Stages 3, 4
and 5 at squashedfrogs.co.uk. You can reach us using the details on the
Contact Us / Submit Resource
page.
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form. That is your name, your email address, an optional telephone number and your message. We use it to answer you and, if you are sending in a resource, to talk to you about it. Nothing else.
We do not ask for, and have no use for, dates of birth, addresses, payment details or anything about the pupils you teach. Please do not include pupil names or any information about a identifiable child in a message or in a file you send us.
What we do not do
- No analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no page-view counter and no third-party measurement script of any kind on this site.
- No advertising. No ad network, no ad slots, no remarketing tags.
- No tracking cookies. The site sets no cookies at all. Nothing is stored on your device beyond the ordinary browser cache.
- No outbound requests. Fonts, styles and scripts are served from this domain. No part of a page is fetched from another company’s server, so no other company learns that you visited.
- No selling or sharing. We do not sell, rent or pass your details to anyone.
Contributor names
The original site credited each contributed resource to the person who sent it in, by first name or by forum handle. Those names are not reproduced here. They are personal data belonging to people who shared a worksheet two decades ago and did not agree to be listed on a rebuilt site. The descriptions are kept; the attributions are removed.
How long we keep things
Enquiry messages are kept only while they are useful — normally until the conversation is finished and, where a resource has been offered, until it has been catalogued. After that they are deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. Write to us and we will do it. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Files and copyright
The resources catalogued on this site were written by individual teachers and trainee teachers, who kept their copyright when they shared them. This site publishes the catalogue entry only — name, description, publication date, file name and size — and does not republish the files. If you wrote something listed here and would like the entry removed, tell us and it will go.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will replace this page. There is no mailing list, so there is nowhere to announce it.
Made something good? Send it in.
The bank only ever grew because teachers and trainees shared what they had built for their own classes. If you have a worksheet, a card sort or a starter presentation that works, pass it on.
